Fixed Grade Contract Prices

The fixed grade contract contains three components

  • Fixed grade
  • Fixed tonnage

All three components of this contract are set at the time of contracting.

The fixed grade contract is payed on binning grade and may include payments for quality increments.  Quality increments for this contract are payable in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

Multi Grade (Multi G) contract prices

The Multi G contract is based on APW (10.5% protein, 5% screenings, 12.5% moisture) and has a minimum tonnage of 100t.

At the time of contracting the APW base grade is locked in.  Unlike fixed grade contracts, the Multi G contract grade spreads can remain unfixed until 1st October.  Any unfixed grade spreads will be automatically fixed as per the grade spreads on this date.

The Multi G Contract is payed on bin grade and may include protein, quality increments.  The quality increments may be updated daily and are independent to the AWB Pool matrices.  Quality increments for this contract are payable in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

AWB Pools

The AWB Pool releases updated grain prices, referred to as ‘Estimate Pool Returns’ weekly during harvest and fortnightly for the remainder of the year.

The Estimated Pool Return figure is a Free on Board (FOB) GST exclusive price quoted for each bin grade.

When comparing the AWB Pool grain price to other silo prices please refer to the Estimated Silo Return price (ESR price).
