AWB publishes a variety of grain prices across multiple commodities, including:

From time to time AWB purchase other commodities not listed above. If you are interested in selling a commodity that is not listed above please contact the AWB Grower Service Centre or your local grain marketer with the tonnage and quality specification of your commodity.
Wheat Grain Prices
AWB offer the greatest number of grain pricing alternatives for the commodity – Wheat.
AWB Australia offers the following wheat price alternatives
- Cash at silo prices
- Fixed Grade contract prices
- Multi Varietal contract prices
AWB International
AWB Cash at silo prices
AWB’s Cash pricing program is seasonally dependant, running for approximately 5 months of the year commencing October – February.
Cash grain prices are silo based prices quoted on a daily basis. The Cash price is only valid for that day.

Fixed Grade Contract Prices
The fixed grade contract contains three components
- Fixed grade
- Fixed tonnage
- Fixed delivery date
All three components of this contract are set at the time of contracting.
The fixed grade contract is payed on binning grade and may include payments for quality increments. Quality increments for this contract are payable in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

Multi Varietal (Multi V) contract prices
The Multi V contract is based on APW (10.5% protein, 5% screenings, 12.5% moisture) and has a minimum tonnage of 100t.
At the time of contracting the APW base grade is locked in. Unlike fixed grade contracts, the Multi V contract grade spreads can remain unfixed until 1st October. Any unfixed grade spreads will be automatically fixed as per the grade spreads on this date.
The Multi V Contract is payed on varietal grade and includes protein, screenings and moisture quality increments. The quality increments may be updated daily and are independent to the AWB National Pool Golden Rewards matrices. Quality increments for this contract are payable in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

AWB National Pool
The AWB National pool releases updated grain prices, referred to as ‘Estimate Pool Returns’ weekly during harvest and fortnightly for the remainder of the year.
The Estimated Pool Return figure is a Free on Board (FOB) GST exclusive price quoted for each pay grade.
When comparing the National Pool grain price to other silo prices please refer to the Estimated Silo Return price (ESR price).

Barley grain prices
AWB offer 3 barley grain price alternatives including:
- Cash at silo prices
- Fixed Grade contract prices
- Multi Barley (Multi B) contract prices
The cash and fixed grade grain prices are quoted on the same terms as the wheat cash and fixed grade grain prices.
Multi Barley (Multi B) contract prices
The Multi B contract is based on Feed Barley (F1) and has a minimum tonnage of 100t.
At the time of contracting the base grade F1 is locked in, however the Malt grade spread can be left floating until the 1st October. Any unfixed grade spreads will be automatically fixed as per the grade spreads on this date.
