After a record number of grower calls to AWB Limited’s Grower Service Centre this harvest, AWB has extended the operating hours of the Service Centre to seven days a week during the harvest period.
The Grower Service Centre answered a record of 1300 calls on Monday 4th December and over 1000 calls were answered every day this week.
To respond to this demand, the Centre will be open from 7am until 11pm Monday to Friday Eastern Summer Time (EST) and 7am until 8pm EST on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Service Centre operators can provide growers with information on all harvest issues including prices, receival standards, payments, registrations, Golden Rewards active payment scales and contracts. To access the Service Centre, growers should ring 1800 054 433.
AWB has also introduced a new poll fax service that will allow growers to receive Golden Rewards active payment matrices through their fax machines. The service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Different payment scales for each wheat grade can be obtained individually.
The number to call to receive this poll fax is 1902 910 020, and calls will cost $1.93 from all standard fax machines.
AWB’s web site, at www.awb.com.au is also updated daily with pricing and harvest information.
AWB updates pool estimates and golden rewards matrices every Monday at 3pm EST during the harvest period.
