AWB Limited Chief Executive Andrew Lindberg will address shareholders at a series of pre-Annual General Meeting forums across regional Queensland in February.
The forums will give shareholders the opportunity to hear first hand the future direction and corporate strategies for AWB Limited for the coming year. The forums have been organised for those shareholders and growers who are unable to attend the Annual General meeting in Melbourne on March 15, 2001.
Issues to be discussed at these meetings include the removal of the capital limitation on AWB’s investments, election of directors and Board continuity, and investment strategies for the coming years.
Growers will also have the opportunity to discuss the 2000/2001 harvest, and the outlook for wheat production in the year ahead.
Mr Lindberg will be accompanied by Board Directors and AWB Regional staff.
All AWB shareholders will receive a Notice of Meeting regarding AWB’s Annual General meeting by the 31st January.
