AWB (International) Limited (AWBI) today announced changes to price estimates for the 2000/01 National Pool, lifting the majority of grades as the shipping program for the old crop draws towards an end.
The increase follows a strong AWBI sales and shipping effort during November, and will result in all grades, except durum, increasing by between $2 and $4 per tonne. Golden Rewards’ protein scales for the 2000/01 pools have also been adjusted.
Meanwhile, two changes have been made to new season estimates, with 2001/02 Feed increasing $5/t to $177/t (FOB, GST exclusive), and ADR4 lifting by $10/t.
AWBI General Manager Sarah Scales said AWBI was able to positively fine-tune its 2000/01 estimates as it priced an increasing percentage of the wheat in those pools.
The next National Pool update will be Monday 24 December 2001, at 3.00pm.
