Growers in the South East of WA will have improved access to AWB staff and service from today, following a move to a new and larger regional office premises in Esperance.
Officially opened by AWB Limited Chairman Brendan Stewart, the new Esperance office is part of the improved Grower Service network, which included a doubling of regional staff numbers across Australia.
"AWB has always had a presence in the Esperance region, but as part of our Grower Service upgrade we have committed to expanding our regional presence, particularly in WA," Mr Stewart said.
"For growers in south east region of WA, AWB has increased the number of staff in both the Esperance and Lake Grace regional offices, who bring to the team a mix of skills to meet growers’ various business needs.
"The relocation and improvement of the Esperance office follows the opening last week of a new centre at Northam, both of which will complement our present service network to provide a more visible and accessible AWB," said Mr Stewart.
AWB Regional Manager South East WA, Ian Saunders will be based at the new Esperance centre, along with Area Business Manager, Chris Tonkin.
Mr Stewart said growers would have access to the complete range of AWB products and services through the Esperance office, including the four new AWB National Pool payment options launched earlier this month.
The four new options significantly increase flexibility for growers, with the introduction of two loans and two payments, through which growers select the timing and quantity of their cashflow.
The Esperance office is located at 63A Dempster St, and can be contacted on (08) 9072 1555.
