Nominations for Director positions on the Board of AWB Limited and AWB (International) Limited have now closed, with candidates putting forward their names.
The election of three positions on the Board of AWB Limited and one position on the Board of AWB (International) Limited will take place at the Company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held in Melbourne on Thursday 13th March 2003.
AWB shareholders will find out more information about all candidates and AWB Limited’s AGM in a mailout (Notice of Meeting 2003) that will be mailed to all shareholders in late January 2003.
The following candidates have nominated for the Board of AWB Limited.
The candidates for election of Director to the Board of AWB Limited by New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory A Class shareholders are:

- Mr Bruce Golding
- Mr Ian Cush
- Mr Richard Clark
The candidates for election of Director to the Board of AWB Limited by South Australian A Class shareholders are:
- Mr Brendon Smart
- Mr Brendan Fitzgerald

The candidate for election of Director to the Board of AWB (International) Limited by Western Australian A Class shareholders is:
AWB Limited is controlled by a Board, the majority of which is grower elected (seven out of 12). The voting rights attached to an A Class share are determined by the tonnage of wheat delivered to AWB. Under AWB Limited’s constitution, a wheat grower is a person who produces wheat in Australia with an annual tonnage of at least 33 1/3 tonnes.
AWB is encouraging all shareholders to vote either by attending the AGM on Thursday 13 March 2003 at the Auditorium, Level 2, Melbourne Exhibition Centre, 2 Clarendon Street Southbank, Victoria or through the proxy or postal voting forms contained in the Notice of Meeting brochure.
