Guaranteed Pool Access
AWB has announced its guaranteed access dates for wheat deliveries to the 2003 AWB National Pool.
This means growers have certainty that the pool will remain open until the guaranteed access dates. The nominated dates reflect when AWB expects harvest to be substantially complete in each of the regions, and allows growers a reasonable opportunity to deliver to AWB National Pool.
It is important for growers to transfer their wheat rapidly from warehousing into the National Pool following harvest. This helps the movement of grain and assists the National Pool in obtaining important quality information for its international marketing program.
Beyond the guaranteed access dates the pool may close without notice, in order to protect pool value and safeguard participants.
Growers have the option of taking out a deferred delivery contract with AWB, which provides access beyond these nominated dates, by contacting their regional office or the AWB Grower Service Centre on 1800 054 433.
AWB will officially close the 2002 No.2 AWB National Pool for grain deliveries today, and all wheat will now be received into the 2003 AWB National Pool.
