AWB National Pool’s Estimated Pool Returns (EPRs) are unchanged this week.
For the new season 2003 AWB National Pool, benchmark APW remains $224/t (FOB, GST exclusive), APH at $243.50/t and ASWN at $236/t.
General Manager AWB National Pool, Sarah Scales, said US futures markets had continued their day to day volatility, but had made no significant net change over the course of the week.
Ms Scales said while the Australian dollar had continued to appreciate against the US dollar, AWB National Pool’s currency hedging program was protecting pool value from its full impact.
AWB today also announces changes to Guaranteed Access Dates for port zones in South Australia and Victoria, following cool conditions and a delayed harvest for many growers in those areas.
The nominated dates reflect when AWB expects harvest to be substantially complete in each of the regions, and allows growers a reasonable opportunity to deliver to AWB National Pool.
Beyond the Guaranteed Access Dates the pool may close without notice, in order to protect pool value and safeguard participants. Growers have the option of a deferred delivery contract, which provides access beyond these nominated dates, by contacting their regional office.
