AWB National Pool has made no change to Estimated Pool Returns (EPRs), with the persistence of relatively unchanged market conditions during the past week.
For the 2005/06 AWB National Pool, benchmark APW remains at $191 (FOB, GST exclusive), while APH is $225.50/t. For the 2004/05 AWB National Pool, APW remains at $199/t.
AWB has made some adjustments to the Golden Rewards protein scales for the 2005/06 AWB National Pool, increasing protein payments for wheat in the AGP and AUW pay grades.
Once again there has been no change to the base rates for the 2004-05 AWB National Pools however there has been some slight changes to protein premiums for the AGP and AUW pay grades for both pools.
General Manager, AWB International, Sarah Scales said while the futures market had been a little weaker this week, particularly for hard wheat in Kansas, it had not impacted greatly on the AWB National Pool.
She said currency had traded within a narrow range of between 0.73 and 0.74.
Ms Scales also reminded growers that the Guaranteed Access Dates were nearing for Queensland ports. Access to the 2005/06 Pool at Mackay and Gladstone ports may close on December 1, while Brisbane could close from December 14, 2005.
She urged growers who want to guarantee access to the 2005/06 No 1 Pool to arrange for their wheat to be delivered to the National Pool as soon as possible.
