| ||AWB finalises NSW classification of H46|| ||
Following its first meeting for 2005, the AWB National Pool classification panel has finalised the classification of wheat variety H46 in New South Wales.
Following testing and results analysis from BRI Australia, Agrifood Technology and Narrabri Plant Breeding Institute, the H46 variety has been awarded an Australian Premium White (APW) classification for NSW.
H46 has not been fully evaluated in Victoria, South Australia or Western Australia, with results expected to be available for a final classification decision later this year. Until these quality samples can be evaluated, H46 will have a temporary classification of Australian Standard White (ASW) in these regions.
The variety is a H45 derivative, and has been developed by SunPrime Seeds.
