In-Store Transfer Policy

1.  POLICY

1.1  What is an In-Store Transfer?
An In-Store Transfer is a transfer by a Counterparty to AWBI of title to Wheat stored on behalf of the Counterparty by a Receival Agent with whom AWBI also has a storage and handling agreement.

1.2  Registration
A Counterparty must register with AWBI by completing an AWB registration form (and provide its AWB registration number to the Receival Agent) before delivering Wheat into the National Pool by In-Store Transfer.

To enquire about the status of an existing registration, or to apply for a new registration, contact AWBL on 1800 054 433.

1.3  General terms and conditions
AWBI's "General Terms and Conditions" for the Season (which are available on the AWBL website) apply to all deliveries of Wheat into the National Pool (including by In-Store Transfer).

1.4  Receival Standards
Wheat delivered to the National Pool (including by In-Store Transfer) must meet AWBI’s Receival Standards for that particular Grade of Wheat.  AWBI may reject any Wheat for delivery to the National Pool that does not comply with the Receival Standards and recover any losses it incurs as a result.

1.5  Ticket-by-Ticket Policy
A Counterparty who delivers Wheat into the National Pool by In-Store Transfer must comply with the Ticket-by-Ticket Policy except deliveries pursuant to a:

(a) Stock Swap

(b) Strategic Purchase.

2.  PROCEDURES

2.1  Documents to be provided by Counterparty

A Counterparty proposing to deliver Wheat to the National Pool by In-Store Transfer must do the following:

(a) (AWB registration) Hold or obtain registration with AWBI (see section 1.2 above).

(b) (National Pool Purchase Contract Number) Obtain a Pool Purchase Contract Number from the AWB Team Leader Contract Administrator.

(c) (Title Transfer Form) Complete, execute and deliver to the AWB Pool Purchase Administrator the applicable Title Transfer Form (which is available from the Receival Agent's office).

(d) (Nominate National Pool Payment Option) Nominate the way in which it wants to be paid for the In‑Store Transfer on the Title Transfer Form (except if the Counterparty nominated a National Pool Payment Option upon registration at the beginning of the Season).  The National Pool Payment Options are as follows.

(i) "Harvest Loan"

(ii) "Advance Payment"

(iii) "Flexible Drawdown Loan"

(iv) "Deferred Payment"

(v) "National Pool Distribution"

Details about each of the National Pool Payment Options are available from AWBL's website or by contacting the grower hotline on 1800 054 433.

A Counterparty delivering Wheat into the National Pool pursuant to a Stock Swap or Strategic Purchase by AWBI is paid cash and does not nominate a National Pool Payment Option.

(e) (Tickets) email to the AWB Pool Purchase Administrator a spreadsheet containing all the information in each original Ticket issued for each Load in the parcel of Wheat the Counterparty delivers other than where:

(i) it is a delivery pursuant to a Stock Swap or Strategic Purchase; or

(ii) it is a delivery by Trading, in which case Trading must select relevant Tickets for transfer in SAP such that AWBI can readily access relevant information from each original Ticket.

2.2  Acceptance by AWBI

If the Counterparty has complied with this policy and provided the documents set out in section 2.1, AWBI will execute the Title Transfer Form and deliver it to the Receival Agent.

2.3  Receival Agent executes Title Transfer Form

The Receival Agent will execute the Title Transfer Form and send it to the Pool Purchase Contracts Administrator.  Unless otherwise agreed by AWBI, title passes upon execution of the Title Transfer Form by the Receival Agent.

2.4  Payment by AWBI

(a)  Payment terms

AWBI will pay for Wheat delivered by In‑Store Transfer in accordance with the applicable National Pool Payment Option (or, for cash payments, within 5 Business Days of receiving the executed Title Transfer Form from the Receival Agent).

(b)  Price by Pay Grade

The price for Wheat delivered to the National Pool by In-Store Transfer is determined according to the Pay Grade specified on the Ticket (except Stock Swaps and Strategic Purchases) with adjustments using the Golden Rewards Payment Scale.  The price for Stock Swaps and Strategic Purchasesis determined by Bin Grade.

A list of the Pay Grade for each variety of Wheat can be found on the AWBL website.
