AWB Limited has launched a national grower consultative network as a medium for growers to provide further input into AWB operations and direction.
The new network complements the existing consultative processes through grower representative bodies such as the Grains Council of Australia, which remain highly valued methods of communication and consultation for AWB.
The network’s purpose is to provide an additional avenue for growers to have input into AWB in setting direction and in responding to industry and global challenges.
AWB has appointed a broad cross section of men and women to reflect a diverse range of views, geographic interest, industry priorities and levels of production. Each of the regional groups contains 8 – 12 members, providing adequate coverage of the thoughts and interests of growers within a region.
