Estimated Pool Returns (EPRs) for all wheat grades in the AWB 2007/08 National Pools are unchanged following the fortnightly review of National Pool returns.
The 2007/08 EPR for benchmark APW grade for the AWB Number 1 National Pool remains at $418/t (FOB GST exclusive), the Number 2 National Pool APW remains at $399/t (FOB GST exclusive) and the Number 3 National Pool APW remains at $335/t (FOB GST exclusive).
AWB General Manager National Pool, David Johnson, said the 2007/08 National Pool marketing and sales program remains on track and we are well advanced in having the remainder of the wheat tonnage in the pool priced and allocated to key international customers.
“AWB is currently finalising the second financial distribution to wheat growers who deliver to the 2007/08 National Pool and this distribution will be paid on 9th July 2008,” Mr Johnson said.
“In addition, AWB has ceased operating the National Pool domestic tender until further notice, due to the lack of wheat stock in a suitable location for the domestic market. If further stock becomes available AWB will notify the market of any tender opportunities.”
The next pool update is scheduled for Monday 7th July 2008.
