As the Territory Manager for the Kwinana Zone, Ben Cotsford loves dealing with growers. His daily ritual is to check market movements and to highlight opportunities for growers.
In talking about options this year for WA growers, Ben says cash prices are attractive but a lot of growers also like the idea of spreading their price risk management over a period of time, rather than selling a hundred per cent of their crop at harvest time.
He describes the Harvest Pool as a ‘low worry type of way of selling your grain’ where you can let the experts make the decisions for you.
