Proud to contribute to new sports facility in Charlton
by Georgia Fay
Charlton is a small rural town located in North Central Victoria, with a small population of 1,050. GrainFlow has important facilities in Charlton, providing storage and handling services for the local farmers in the area.
AWB and GrainFlow are delighted to contribute to this region by assisting with the Charlton Park re-development project. The Charlton Park re- development project once completed will be a brand-new multi-purpose sport and recreational centre. Charlton has a large sporting community, with a range of sports such as football, netball, hockey, tennis and cricket to name a few. It will be a much more enjoyable experience for sports players with updated sporting facilities.
Nick Robertson, AWB’s Territory Manager for Northern Victoria, who presented the $1000 in funding to 2020 chairman John Harley, said “GrainFlow and AWB are committed to supporting local and rural areas and to give back to these communities. All communities deserve to thrive, and we want to play our role in making this possible.”
