An article on page 3 of yesterday’s Weekly Times reported that AWB Limited (AWB)  has made a bid for barley marketer, ABB Grain Limited (ABB).

AWB has had recent discussions with ABB directed at exploring the benefits of a closer relationship between the two companies.

The discussions with ABB are preliminary in nature.

No agreement has been reached by AWB and ABB.
