AWB Limited has urged growers who still require a Harvest Payment for any outstanding wheat deliveries this season to deliver to the National Pool by the 28th February.
AWB Limited Chief Executive Andrew Lindberg said the Harvest Payment option would not be available against 2000/2001 pool deliveries after this date.
“Growers who cannot deliver by February 28, and who require a Harvest Payment, can take out an AWB deferred delivery contract,” Mr Lindberg said.
“A deferred delivery contract allows a grower to deliver to AWB’s National Pool until the end of April, securing a Harvest Payment loan that will be paid within 21 days of delivery.”
For growers who deliver after February 28, the only payment option will be via quarterly distributions, with the first quarter payment to be made in early April.
Growers should contact the AWB National Service Centre on 1800 054 433 or their local AWB area office for more information.
