AWB National Pool has kept Estimated Pool Returns (EPRs) unchanged this week, with both old and new season Pools remaining steady despite the volatility in US wheat futures.
Benchmark APW for 2002/03 remains at $287/t (FOB, GST exclusive), APH at $327.50/t and ASWN to $318/t. Top grade durum, ADR1, is estimated at $348/t.
General Manager AWB National Pool Sarah Scales said during the past week prices had been highly volatile, although demand remained lacklustre and export sales - particularly from the US - continued to be slow.
"In the past week Kansas City futures have traded within a range of about AUD$20 per tonne," Ms Scales said.
"While values finished largely unchanged week on week, the volatility in the market continues to present challenges for pricing and hedging decisions," Ms Scales said.
AWB National Pool estimates for 2001/02 also remained unchanged. There has been no change to Golden Reward increments for either season.
The next AWB National Pool update will be released at 4pm Monday 25th November 2002.
