Estimated Pool Returns (EPRs) for the AWB National Pools remain largely unchanged this week, with the wheat market remaining pressured by further retractions in US wheat futures.
For the new season 2005/06 Pool, the EPR for benchmark APW remains $180 - $190/t (FOB, GST exclusive), while for the 2004/05 Number 1 Pool, APW is also unchanged at $199/t.
AWB has increased the EPR for the Feed pay grade in the 2004/05 Number 1 Pool by $5/t, while all other pay grades for both the Number 1 and Number 2 Pools are unchanged.
Leading toward finalisation of the 2003/04 Pool in the final week of April, AWB has made a $0.60/t increase to the majority of pay grades.
General Manager AWB International, Sarah Scales, said after their strong rally in February and March, US wheat futures has eased further with good progress of wheat crops in the northern hemisphere, and weakness in other grains such as corn and soybeans.
The next AWB Pool Update will be Tuesday 26th April 2005.
