AWB understands that a class action complaint has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of a number of US farmers. 

A similar complaint was lodged in July 2006 in the U.S. Federal District Court for the District of Columbia.  It was never served on AWB and was subsequently withdrawn.

The new class action complaint has not been served on AWB.  If it is, AWB will vigorously defend the claim.
